What our guests are saying

Jo Dingemans
What a lovely caravan park very close to the Balonne river that has a walking path along side the river to the township. The centre of town is within walking distance and the aquatic centre which has a thermal bath is quite close by. River Gum has modern facilities and a laundry room equipped with industrial washing machines and dryers. The green grass caravan sites are spacious and the owners, John and Bec are fantastic hosts. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your well kept and clean park and for accomodating our needs. Jeroen and Jo Dingemans

I stayed two nights on a powered site in our caravan. John and Bec were very helpful and friendly. John welcomed me with a handshake and guided us to our site. The site was a little dusty with a slope, but plenty large enough for our caravan, with the awning extended, and our tow vehicle. The amenities were very clean and in working order. It looks like they were recently renovated. The caravan park is situated very close to the river on the outskirts of town. I would recommend this caravan park.

What a great place. Friendliest hosts we have come across. They fitted us in when full (because we were only camping). Bathrooms and camp kitchen are clean and new. Can refill gas cylinders. Has great dinner recommendations. Thoroughly recommend.

Very friendly hosts, well cared for park and grounds. An easy walk to the weir, boatramp for the SRC afternoon cruise and into town. The amenities and camp kitchen are all new or very recently renovated and are all immaculately clean. We will definitely be back.

River Gum Tourist Park is definitely one of the best parks we have been to. Paul the host goes out of his way to make sure that you have a great stay, nothing is too much trouble. There is a great undercover camp kitchen spotless clean with plenty of seating. Next to it a BBQ ready to cook up a storm. The amenities also very clean with great size showers, much better than what we experienced in other campgrounds. We had a beautiful spot at the bottom of the park with beautiful views over the river and parklands. We definitely will be back.
